Last updated: 27 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Avenris Solutions (“Avenris”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website, contact us, create a contributor account, participate in assessments, or use our contributor services.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to personal data processed through avenrissolutions.com and Avenris contributor services. Client engagements or specific contributor projects may be subject to additional privacy, confidentiality, or contractual terms.
2. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with Avenris, we may collect:
- Account information: name, email address, authentication information, and account identifiers.
- Contributor profile information: country, languages, areas of expertise, skills, experience, availability, LinkedIn or portfolio links, CV information, and an optional profile photo.
- Assessment information: assessment responses, submission status, review results, reviewer feedback, and internal evaluation information.
- Project information: project participation, assignments, work-related records, submissions, status information, and related communications where those features are used.
- Payment information: earnings and payout records and the payment provider, label, or account identifier you choose to provide. Avenris does not ask you to provide your payment-provider password through the contributor payment-method form.
- Referral information: referral codes and attribution records; where a business inquiry is referred, the Owner may review the lead name, work email, company, requested service, referral status, and any reward decision.
- Business inquiry information: your name, company, work email, requested service, project description, timeline, and optional information such as expected scale, required languages, or current systems.
- Technical and browser information: information necessary to operate and secure the website and contributor services. The contributor and reviewer sign-in systems use secure, HTTP-only cookies to maintain authenticated sessions. Authentication tokens are not stored in browser local storage. Non-sensitive preferences such as interface theme may be stored locally on your device.
3. How we collect personal data
We collect information directly from you when you create or update an account, submit a project inquiry, upload profile materials, complete an assessment, provide payment-method information, or otherwise interact with Avenris. We may also receive technical information through the services and infrastructure used to operate our website and platform.
4. Why we use personal data
We process personal data only where there is an appropriate legal basis under applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include your consent, taking steps at your request or performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, establishing or defending legal rights, or pursuing legitimate interests that do not override your rights and freedoms.
We use personal data to operate and secure Avenris services; create and administer contributor accounts; assess skills and qualifications; match contributors with relevant opportunities; administer projects; calculate and manage earnings and payouts; respond to business inquiries; communicate about accounts, assessments, projects, and services; prevent misuse and protect our systems; maintain appropriate business records; attribute and review client and contributor referrals, prevent duplicate or fraudulent reward claims, and maintain referral audit records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
5. Assessments and contributor evaluation
When you participate in an Avenris assessment, we process your answers and related assessment records so that Avenris can evaluate your responses and suitability for relevant opportunities. Authorized human reviewers may create scores, notes, or other internal evaluation records. Avenris does not currently use automated decision-making to make final assessment decisions. If this changes, this Policy will be updated and any rights required by applicable law will be provided. Creating a contributor account or completing an assessment does not guarantee project work or employment.
6. Business inquiries
When you submit a project brief, the information you provide is transmitted to Avenris so that we can review and respond to your inquiry. Avenris may also send a confirmation to the email address you provide. Please do not include passwords, credentials, or unnecessary sensitive or confidential information in an initial inquiry.
Referral information is used to attribute a submitted inquiry or signup, verify eligibility, administer Owner-approved rewards, and prevent abuse. Client lead contact details are restricted to authorized Owner staff. Contributor referrers see only limited referral status information in their portal. You can read the Referral Program Terms.
7. Service providers and disclosures
We may use service providers to operate Avenris, including providers of hosting and deployment, authentication, database and file storage, and transactional email services. Our current technology stack includes Supabase for platform infrastructure and authentication, Vercel for website hosting and deployment, and Resend for website inquiry email delivery. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.
We may also disclose personal data where required by applicable law, legal process, or a competent authority; to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights; or where necessary to protect users, Avenris, or our services. We do not sell personal data.
8. International processing and transfers
Some technology providers or infrastructure used by Avenris may process or store information outside the country where you live. Where a cross-border transfer is subject to legal requirements, Avenris will seek to use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards required by law. This Policy does not itself constitute consent to a transfer where applicable law requires a separate form of consent or authorization.
9. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account and contributor administration, project and payment administration, security, dispute resolution, and legal or regulatory obligations. Different categories of information may require different retention periods. When information is no longer required, we will take appropriate steps to delete, anonymize, or otherwise securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal obligations and legitimate record-keeping requirements.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. Access to contributor and internal administrative functions is restricted according to account permissions, and certain uploaded materials are maintained in non-public storage. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including rights to be informed, request access, request correction, request erasure, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and request data portability where applicable. Some rights may be subject to lawful exceptions or retention requirements.
Under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, eligible data subjects have rights concerning their electronically processed personal data. Avenris will handle applicable privacy requests in accordance with legally required procedures and time limits.
12. Account and data requests
You may contact Avenris to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data associated with you, or to raise another privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We may retain information where retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
13. Children
Avenris contributor accounts and contributor projects are intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit a person under 18 to participate as an Avenris contributor. If we learn that we have collected contributor-account data from a person under 18, we will take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.
14. Direct marketing
A project inquiry, contributor account, or operational message does not by itself mean that you have agreed to receive unrelated marketing. If Avenris introduces electronic direct marketing, we will implement consent, identification, record-keeping, and opt-out measures required by applicable law.
15. Cookies, local storage, and advertising measurement
Avenris uses browser storage or similar technologies where necessary to provide website and account functionality. Authentication sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. Browser local storage may be used for non-sensitive interface preferences and is technically distinct from an HTTP cookie.
On public, non-account pages, Avenris also uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag for advertising measurement, audience insights, conversion reporting, and related LinkedIn advertising features. LinkedIn may receive technical and interaction information about visits to pages where the tag is loaded. Avenris does not load the tag on contributor, reviewer, login, or signup pages. More information is provided in our Cookie Notice.
16. Personal data breaches
\nIf Avenris becomes aware of a personal data breach, we will investigate, contain, document, and address it as appropriate and will notify the competent authority and affected individuals where notification is required by applicable law.
\n\n17. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Avenris services, technology, or legal obligations change. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
18. Contact and complaints
For privacy questions or requests, contact Avenris Solutions at hello@avenrissolutions.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Center (PDPC). If you are located in another jurisdiction, you may have a right to complain to the competent data protection or privacy authority there, subject to applicable law and procedure.
