Cookie Notice
Last updated: 28 September 2026
This notice explains how Avenris Solutions uses cookies, browser local storage, and similar technologies on avenrissolutions.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and browser storage are different
A cookie is a small piece of data that a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. Browser local storage is a separate browser feature that allows a website to store information on your device without automatically sending it with every web request.
2. What Avenris currently stores in your browser
Avenris uses secure, HTTP-only authentication cookies to maintain authenticated contributor and reviewer sessions. These cookies hold session credentials and cannot be read by ordinary browser JavaScript. They are used to keep you signed in and securely refresh your session when necessary.
Avenris uses browser local storage only for non-sensitive interface preferences, such as contributor and reviewer dashboard theme choices. Authentication tokens are not stored in browser local storage.
3. LinkedIn Insight Tag
On public, non-account pages, Avenris offers optional use of the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure website visits and advertising performance and to support LinkedIn audience and conversion features. The tag is loaded only after you accept optional tracking through the website consent control. LinkedIn states that the Insight Tag can create cookies and other browser identifiers and can collect information about visits and interactions, such as page URLs, referrers, IP address, device and browser characteristics, timestamps, and certain website actions. The tag is not loaded on Avenris contributor, reviewer, login, or signup pages.
LinkedIn may use data collected through the Insight Tag for measurement, audience insights, conversion reporting, and website retargeting in accordance with its own terms and privacy information. Where applicable law requires permission or consent for non-essential tracking technologies, Avenris will implement the controls required for that use.
4. Other cookies and technologies
Infrastructure or third-party services used to deliver website functionality may use technically necessary mechanisms when their services are invoked. If Avenris introduces additional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this notice and implement any controls required by applicable law.
5. Why we use these technologies
We use browser storage where necessary to provide account functionality, maintain authenticated sessions, remember user-selected preferences, support security, and operate the contributor platform.
6. Managing browser storage
Your optional-tracking choice is stored locally on your device so Avenris can remember whether you accepted or declined the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Clearing Avenris site data will clear that saved choice and the website will ask again on a later visit.
You can remove locally stored Avenris information using your browser's site-data or storage controls. Removing authentication storage may sign you out and require you to sign in again. Blocking storage required for account functionality may prevent parts of the contributor platform from working correctly.
7. Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice when the website, contributor platform, or technologies we use change. The date above shows when this notice was last updated.
